Her Life Matters

Her Life Matters is a YOWORI born girls club which was established to promote leadership skills for the adolescent girls under the age of 18. The club is missioned to create a safe space for the girls to share, promote education, health and human rights. At young women Rise, girls are taught about menstrual hygiene, reusable sanitary pads production and how to advocate on such issues. The girls are made aware of various kinds of Violence and are taught how to report. Education promotion and modelling for the girls is also one of the tools to make the adolescent girls remain in school and pursue their dreams. Drama, dances, story telling and poems are core activities for teaching, learning and advocating.
